Land Surface Temperature 2024 User Workshop Save the date: 5th and 6th December 2024
Call for abstracts and registration
The ESA CCI Land Surface Temperature project is holding a User Workshop on 5th and 6th December 2024. Further information about the LST_cci project can be found at https://climate.esa.int/en/projects/land-surface-temperature/.
Abstracts submissions are accepted until 25 September. Topics for this workshop will include (but are not limited to):
- An overview of the LST_cci project, and its products and outputs
- Examples of user case studies that have utilised LST_cci data
- User applications for satellite LST
- Using satellite LST data in climate science, e.g. modelling, services
- User requirements for satellite LST
This in-person event will take place at the Space Park in Leicester, UK and will be preceded by a Thermal Remote Sensing Workshop between 2nd and 4th December, which is funded by the Centre for Earth Observation Instrumentation and organised by the Special Interest Group on Thermal Remote Sensing and is primarily an educational and networking opportunity, with invitations extended to scientists, researchers, public institutions and private companies interested in learning more about thermal remote sensing and making new connections within the community.
